"In Ya Face" peaked at No. 1082 on Billboard's Hot R&B Chart. Capitol followed it up with "Take Me Back," a down-tempo R&B number that didn't grab much attention. In the end, the album, 7 Day Cycle, sold modestly, peaking at No. 4137 on the Billboard 200's Mediabase.
