that creates, distributes, and broadcasts web video interviews and podcasts. 5by5 has been called "NPR
for geeks", as the broadcasts discuss technology and internet culture and are targeted towards developers, designers and technology enthusiasts.
There are currently 20 broadcasts that are downloaded over 300,000 times a week. The format for most of the shows is Benjamin and a co-host discussing topics live with an IRC audience, who often provide feedback, ask questions, and are often quoted during the show.

Production
Benjamin built a home recording studio in his house in Florida and uses a Heil PR 40 dynamic mic, Joe Meek ThreeQ pre-amp, and a Mackie Onyx 1620i firewire mixer. He uses Logic StudioLogic Studio
