The 52nd Infantry Division (52. Infanterie-Division) served in southern Poland

The officials were especially selected for training young boys. Some of those came from Flak in Leuna
after ceasing the bombing in that area, due to totally destruction of the facilities there.
The division was engaged in a battle with Soviet Army during December 1944, that in truth was a controlled retreat to Czechoslovakia
