The 24th Street Subway–Surface Trolley Lines Station was a station on the Philadelphia Transit Company's Subway-Surface Trolley System. It was Location at 24th and Markets (not really an intersection), the station was build by the City of Philadelphia for its trolley lines and for the then Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Line that ran underneath. The Subway-Surface Trolley Lines that serve this Station were Routes 10

24th Street Station was the only station on the Subway-Surface Lines not underground or nor was it on the surface either, it was built on the ramp or incline just before the trolleys went into or exited the 23rd Street Subway Portal. As the Subway-Surface Trolleys exit the 23rd Street Subway Portal they came right into the Station which looked run down, constructed out of wood and it looked abandon. Passengers transferring from the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad station

On October 15, 1955 the Eastbound Side of this Station was closed to passengers service and all trolley lines were re-routed into the new subway which was extended from 22nd Street to 44th Street, also a new underground station at 22nd Street

 replace this one, and then finally on November 6, 1955, the Westbound Side was closed and all passengers service was closed to this station. The bridge that carried the trolleys & subway trains over the river was torn down in June 1956. Today all that remains of the 24th Street Station is just space, and that is where the station, tracks once stood. All service is operated underground and today it is known as the SEPTA's Subway-Surface Lines and Routes 10
