. The tournament host was announced on March 8, 2011 by NAHL Commissioner Mark Frankenfeld. This will be the 2nd time the Texas Tornado and the city of Frisco will have hosted the Robertson Cup Tournament.

The Robertson Cup Championship Tournament will begin with a three-day, three-game round robin. The top seed (most points) at the conclusion of the round robin will advance to the championship game. The second and third seeds at the conclusion of the round robin will play a semifinal game with the winner advancing to the championship game.
