In the Americas Zone there are four different groups in which teams compete against each other to advance to the next group.

Confirmed nations

The eight temas will be split into two groups of four, playing a round-robin with the first two teams advancing to the promotion round, the last to will play in the relegation round. The two best teams will advance to Division II in 2013, the last two teams will play in Division VI ther coming year.
