The 2011 Gippsland Football League season commenced on 9 April and concludes on 24 September 2011.It is the 12th season of the Gippsland Football League competition, and the first with ten teams following the inclusion of the Bairnsdale Football Club....

The 2010 Gippsland Football League season commenced on 10 April and concluded on 18 September 2010. It was the 11th season of the Gippsland Football League (GFL) competition, and the first with the new league name and logo (Originally West Gippsland Football League).

The Grand Final was played between Maffra and Traralgon, with Maffra taking out the Premiership over Drouin by 18 points, their 7th in 10 years.

It was the first season with Wonthaggi competing and the first without Garfield.
