, began to produce various 1:350 scale ships as well. Trumpeter also released dozens of models which are mostly based on US WWII ships.

Reception

The scale becomes popular and is now widely considered as a 'standardize scale' in ship modelling. This is due to the scale of model ships that is large enough to take advantage of detailing, but still small enough to be displayed sensibly.
