Chronology of the bombing

  • 14. April 1999. - In Valjevo

    , around 5:30, the Krušik factory was bombed, as was its largest urban settlement. The explosion damaged a hospital and school of agriculture.

  • 17. April 1999. - Around 2:10, Valjevo was bombed. Krušik factory was hit. The bombing damaged the factory and a medical station, then the surrounding houses, nursery and agricultural schools.

  • 20. April 1999. - Around 3:17, 7 bombs were dropped on Valjevo and all hit the Krušik factory.

  • 21. April 1999. - Around 0:20, the Krušik factory in Valjevo was bombed for a fourth time. This time, trees were targetted so that large fire broke out.

  • 23. April 1999. - Krušik factory was bombed for a fifth time.

  • 2. May 1999. - B-2 bombers drop bombs on the Krušik factory and nearby settlement "Milorad Pavlović", most of the buildings were destroyed.

  • 4. May 1999. - The death of pilot Milenko Pavlović, who was downed in his MIG-29 over Valjevo.

On 4. May 1999. around 12:00 hours, a large group of NATO aircraft was observed flying in the direction of Valjevo, later bombing mainly the munition factory Krušik, as well as military depots in the village Pričević. Command to take off received one of the younger officers.   • 8 May 1999. - Police station in Valjevo was destroyed.

  • 9. May 1999. - Krušik Factory in Valjevo was targetted once again.

  • 17. May 1999. - Another attack on the Krušik factory left at least one person dead and injured 13 people.
