Season Highlights

The San Miguel Beermen won the All-Filipino championship over Coney Island and represented the country in the 1994 Asian Games. Amateur standouts Marlou Aquino and Kenneth Duremdes join the RP-San Miguel team. In the Commissioner's Cup, the Purefoods Tender Juicy Hotdogs (renamed from Coney Island) won the championship over Alaska Milkmen, marking Chot Reyes' second PBA crown. Later on, Purefoods' stalwarts Alvin Patrimonio, Jerry Codinera and rookie Rey Evangelista also joined the RP team along with Alaska's Johnny Abarrientos. The RP nationals salvaged fourth place in the Asiad tournament behind China, South Korea and Japan. In the Governor's Cup, Alaska won the title over Swift Mighty Meaties with resident import Sean Chambers.
