leaped over the wall and snatched the ball. However, the ball fell out of Leeper's glove allowing Showalter to score from second base and giving Dayett a double. Going into the third inning, the Sounds had a 1–0 lead. Then, Garry Smith hit a double and later scored on Edwin Rodriguez
