1933 International Lawn Tennis Challenge

The 1933 International Lawn Tennis Challenge was the 28th edition of what is now known as the Davis Cup
. 24 teams would enter the Europe Zone; while 9 would enter the Americas Zone, 4 in North America and 5 in South America. Due to the large number of entries in Europe, 1933 saw the beginning of a "Qualifying Round" system, where losing teams in the 1st, 2nd, and Quarterfinal rounds would play-off against each other for four spots in the next year's main draw.
