Admiral Sir Bertram Home Ramsay (20 January, 1883 – 2 January, 1945) was a British Admiral during World War II. He played a major part in planning the Battle of Normandy D-day invasion and led the naval forces in the battle, and was also responsible for the Dunkirk evacuation during his time as Vice-Admiral Dover.
