Currently have what I think is a small old Armor machine with the gear bottoming. looking for exploded machine drawing or instruction. the sheave side pedestal has a stationary shaft that may be eccentric w a roller bearing in the sheave.
the gear side I see the shaft turn under an inspection plate, don't know what is in the pedestal on that side. can't picture the transition within the spider from moving to stationary.
can I raise it & then check for backlash or should I pull the whole thing to a machine shop & what do they need to know precisely about existing conditions?
