When i was young, back around 1970, i got the same message on the bottom of my comic maybe close to a half dozen times. which wasn't really unusual. the comic wrapped around the piece of gum under the wrapper. (there was always a message below the comic, something like you would read in a fortune cookie.) this one was different. it read... Help, I'm a prisonner inside a bubblegum factory. i guess it was just a little dry humour? ...the things a kid don't forget...
