When I took Metformin the first time, about 6 hours later I got very very dizzy. It went away after about 3-4 hours, but the next morning when I got up, I was again very dizzy. Anyone else experience this. Did my blood sugar drop? Was it just a reaction to the med?

The biggest key to taking Metformin is taking it at the same time, every time. when I first was on it? I thought it was a sick cruel joke from the doctor. had severe runs. I like to get around not worry where the nearest bathroom is.
I do suggest you talk to your doctor or pharmacist about your getting dizzy with taking metformin.
Personally I couldn't eat anything made with Malitol, that would just make my situation worse. But I'm off metformin now, was wrecking havoc with my kidney function.
