US government supported Pakistan but majority of the people including democrates against the government policy.
India was with our fight for liberation in every aspects. They trained us, gave arms, supported 10 million refugees. Both Indian Government and people were big supported for our cause. After 25 March 1971 when army started killing civilians we had no place to go to save our lives, to get training and arms other than India. If India was not with us at that time our liberation would have been much more expensive and time consuming. It would cost millions of more lives and years to achieve.
