We have found a Chagall gousche signed and dated by Chagall 1926 ... two Russian men carrying a deer in a snowy scene ... with two figures behind them ... in the background there is a church ... main color tones -- a deep rich red. Trying to find specific painting on internet ... lower right hand corner has capital letters looking like: LEC or LAC ...

Definitely from his Russian period but dated 1926 ... anyone able to tell us where to find this painting to value.

Or maybe it would not be listed anywhere as it did mention he went back to Paris "looking for" his paintings ...

This was purchased at a auction in New York City.
