I believe you misread my post, I said I wanted a "pro American" gov't, not that I am pro gov't, GOVERNMENT IS THE ENEMY OF FREE MEN! As far as regulations go, I believe a few regulations are necessary, however, at a very low point, regulation turns into oppression! Ronald Reagan? Is he what you would call a true conservative? I believe he raised the federal debt by umpteen trillion dollars because, god know if you're a republican you can't drop taxes and cut federal funding for anything.
