To be more realistic the MAY part was a bad anology due to the for leagion are bred to die... just saying.

Or the middle of July. You do want to experience the extreme heat during training and how to survive during these times. To wait until the weather is softer is doing your mind and your body injustice. The break you may get maybe a swallow more of water, a puff on a cigarette, but training will be the same. While heat exhaustion near to death will be frowned upon. But don't get me wrong you will still experience extreme heat and extreme exhaustion and extreme humiliation these are tests to see your grit and to weed out the recruits. Do you want to be next to the man who went thru training in the softer weather? A chance you may get will be the opportunity to serve with your fellow recruits who survived training and graduated with you. In this way you will know their true mettle.

You have a very good point sir, and I will keep that in mind. For I may choose the road less taken myself.
