This question is about karna. As Karna was born to Kunti before her marriage with Pandu can we consider him Yadav instead of Pandav?

India was and is patriarchial, especially in the northern part of the subcontinent. Once a woman marries her husband, she no longer belongs to her birth family, and adopts her husbands lineage. So therefore once married, Kunti is no longer Yadava.
