Snakes bite and kill because your entering their land and they are protecting their eggs and babies. Garden snakes are very harmless. can you name some snakes that are harmless?

Snakes are actually more likely to bite because they haven't got hands to punch you in the mouth for stepping on them. They don't have parenting skills and baby snakes are fully functioning whether born live or hatched from eggs.

Although there are many non-poinsonous snakes, many of these can still inflict painful bites which can easily become infected. The only real harmless ones are those small enough they can't bite you or those you don't step on.

Where I live (South Australia), there are lots of tiger snakes. I see half a dozen every summer. These are extremely poisonous but I consider them harmless because I look out for them and don't step on them. I have had them slither between my legs when I was reading a book and just keep going. The snake was not the slightest bit interested in me because I was too big to eat.

Harmless snakes are those you leave alone.
