I'm a private pilot and I took my training in a C172 with no constant speed prop.
I did take a couple of lessons to clear me for the use of the C/S prop and got some pointers on landing the Cardinal. Since then, I've had very little time to fly. I find myself always coming in too fast using the info that the instructor gave me. Obviously I need practice and maybe even a couple more lessons. Meanwhile though it occurred to me that someone who regularly flies a Cardinal with C/S prop might give me a set of throttle settings that they use and when they make changes and get me back on the right track.
I find it easy to land smoothly when I get it all right, and I know the steps to getting it all right but rarely do. So far I've never frightened myself or done any type of damage but I really want to learn to "grease" them all.
