So out on bond and under house arrest I still have no trial date and my life has been distroyed. Can they do this to me or do I have rights. Louisiana law. Has cost me my home, truck, family was ripped apart, and bank acct. run dry. Can they do this and when Im proven not guilty who pays to put my life back on track ?

From what i can tell they can do whatever they want to the poor. I was arrested by the sheriffs department from one county in an other county for a domestic which did not happen. Plus in New Mexico arest without a warent states when at the scene of a domestic if the police have probale cause they can arest a person but have to take them to a judge within 48hrs I was arested on a friday saw judge on a mon day the law states in my state sheriffs only have jurisdiction in thier county only, however i was arested in an other county before the police talked to my wife or any witness. I have paid bond but was put on house arrest for 6 months now so what happen to speedy trial? any way you ask who pays? look into what you must do to file a TORT claim. you only have 90 days how ever if you are locked up the 90 days starts the day of release get a stamped (recieved) copy then you have 3 years to sue. See if your state has a law libary the will help wiyh your state laws only if you ask for help with (RESEARCH) if you ask questions they say they cant give leagle advice but if you ask for help reseaching questions laws ect... they help best of luck sucks the laws justice is really for the rich but those of us who will not bend over and take it can and will win downs14 is my emale at qdot com
