My student son has been asked to pay money to a landlord under 'The Law of Intent' regarding a tenancy agreement for a place in a flat albeit he has never had a conversation with this landlord regarding this matter or signed any lease.
The landlords premise is based solely on alleged conversations with other tenants in the flat regarding a possibility that he may consider moving in with them next university year.
Is there any basis to his claim?
