My partner and I got into a heated debated last night about whether a small dress would dry at the same time as a large dress of the same material. He believed with one dress being smaller it would hold less water therefor dry out quicker, my argument was because there was a larger surface area on the larger dress the water would evaporate faster as there is more surface molecules which are able to escape, resulting in the times the dresses dry the same. Could someone please help us settle this debate as we are driving each other insane.
