My grand uncle was a boat builder in gorumna island in the connemara gaeltacht before immigrating to boston ma.not sure when i figured out it would be round the early last century , he then worked on the building of schooners in boston , i would love more info ,on him as i have his old block plane he used before leaving ireland,he lived with his nephew bill griffin in norwood west boston bill was an immigration officer at logan airport,my grand uncles name was pat/pateen griffin u can emaill me on nollaig1968@yahoo.co.uk thanks noel griffin
