Is there any metric for the temperature trend of the sub-surface crust of the earth?
Consequent to the answer, and should the crust be warmer, then would not the deep ocean also warm? Does not cold water hold more dissolved gasses than warmer water? Might not then the ocean be releasing CO2 (I believe that it is far and away the largest source of atmospheric CO2 anyway - but I'm talking CHANGE) rather like soda going flat as it is warmed? Contra-indicating this is that I hear stories that the ocean is MORE acid, not less so - which puzzles me. More carbonic acid in the ocean would sound like a sequestering action resulting in a net atmospheric loss.

I know that a tree that is 30 inches around gives off 60 barrels of water a day.
A barrel has 55 gallons of water.
This is ONE tree think about all the trees "we" have cut and you ask why global warming??

Huh?
Is this an intentional non sequitur - or a misdirected response to someone else's question?
I'm not sure what your point is anyway. Since water vapor is understood to be far and away THE most potent greenhouse gas you would imply that it would be prudent to cut down lots of trees in order to reign in their efficient discharge of water vapor into the atmosphere. I somehow doubt that this is what you intend to imply.
I am simply trying to apprehend various aspects of this poorly understood phenomenon. I am not interested in (nor qualified to) advocating any action, inaction, advocacy, denial or taking any other politically/emotionally charged position. I have posted a simple question hoping for a relevant response from a (hopefully) qualified party.

I have come to the conclusion that we all have a little blame global warming and its consequences and guilt even more politicians who do not slow down.
