Is prolonged hypnotic situation harmful to the human brain?
As an example, a young female has been doctrinated to beleive in scientology (cult) thru sleep-deprivation, hunger
and physical exhaustion and e-meter technique. Her dissociation from reality is demonstrated thru her behavioral pattern lacking of empathy , sense of responsibility, ability of critical thinking, and etc. She has been with the cult more than 10 years. Age 35. My second question is: Is there de-hypnotizational theraphy that can reverse the previous cultic hypnotic condition? Thnak you for helping me with good answers. Kay
