Colorectal cancer

In November 2008 I was Vitamin D deficient and anemic. A colonoscopy discovered an adenomous (?) polyp, was told I was "stage 0," which I didn't even know existed until that moment. I was instructed to do more frequent screening and have all of my siblings get in for a colonoscopy.

Question: I'm trying not to be paranoid, but I have been having issues with rectal bleeding, change in bowels and urination, and have a side pain (feels like someone punched me in the back of my ribs on right side and feels "bruised" to touch, more of a dull ache). I'm thinking kidney infection? But, I've also gone in before thinking I've had a bladder or kidney infection and nothing comes up. Although, it's been a long time since I've gone in for that, likely more than a year.

Because it's so slow growing, and because my 3-year mark isn't up, is it necessary to get checked now? Or, should I wait?
