If green house gasses are causing the mean atmospheric temperature to rise. why has the temperature on other planets within our solar system risen in unison with ours?
Could this observed effect be caused by the sun?
Especially as none of these planets have any CO2.
Is it not a fact, that a rise in the mean atmospheric temperature will cause an increase in the production of CO2 due to increased organic activity?
Is it not also a fact that Ice core samples show the level of CO2 increases "AFTER" the temperature increases and not befor?
Is it not also a fact that Al Gore has icreased his personal wealth by a magnitude of 16 times since he started his anti CO2 crusade?

Ah yes, the core of the issue...fear and money.
I'm always amazed what sheep we are, in general of course. So easily led from one fear to the next and scammed out of our hard earned wealth every time.
simply amazing
at least you've stopped to consider that, even if the core of the fear has a basis in reality (the climate is changing)is there really anything we can constructively do about it other than adapt?
Do you have references for the statement about overall solar system temps rising? I would be very interested to read about that. Please post you reply so other similarly curious people can also enjoy the information.
our only defense against fear and stupidity is education and careful consideration.
thanks

Dawn,
When viewing the facts relating to this subject
The consensus of opinion is: "man made" or "natural"
There is little doubt, the climate is changing.
The evidence of the cause is not clear unless there is money to be made, or power to be gained.
Corporations have financed much of the research and oiled the wheels of government in order to pave the way for a bonanza for themselves at the expence of the worker bee.
Much of this is portrayed in; Google's "The Great Global Warming Swindle" I fail to see how the makers of this Vidio will harvest anything other than derision from the "Establishment"
Regarding information as to the effect of "sunspot activity" on other planets you only have to type in
"Global warming of the planets" You will obviously find the same devisive information,
One planet has a 98% CO2 atmosphere (not sure of the density) which has risen 7 deg. Which to some , obviously proves the CO2 forces temperature rise. The proviso is, 98% over .044 should have produced a considerably higher temperature.
While the climatologists have climbed on to the multi billion dollar research "band waggon", the same ride has not been given to cosmotologists and others who research fields beyond human influence, which effect the surface of our planet.
I find this quite sinister, seeing as the sun is the provider of all energy on the planet barring the core.
Forestry and agriculture are minimal compared to the oceans, which we are not to familiar with.
Corporations found it so easy to produce obsolescence by law, such as Freons, in order that less efficent refrigeration machinery would have to be produced to replace the "hazardious" kind. We are about to experience the cost of this ploy. Some of the pressures required within these new machines are horrendously high. like having a potential bomb in the kitchen.
Global warming "legislation" will be their pinacle
And now. Corporations can secretly spend as much as they like to buy the legislation of their desire. making a mockery of democracy.

The consensus...
I agree whole heartedly with everything you wrote. I would add that "climate issues" make money for even more people than you've listed.
the real issue, one that we can do something about, is pollution but solving pollution COSTS money.
I predict we see very little benefit from the "stop global warming" brigade. If we focused on the much less glamorous issue, thousands of people, maybe millions, perhaps all of us, would see immediate and tangible benefit.
Its an imaginary world for me but I hold out hope.

I have come to the conclusion that we all have a little blame global warming and its consequences and guilt even more politicians who do not slow down.
