I just bought a new wood cutting Bandsaw, It's suppose to have a 5.5 hp motor but it's not listed on the motor anywhere. What I do know is that it is a S6 rated motor with 230 volts,single phase, 18.2 amps with 4kw at 60hz. rpm is 3450.
I believe that it has a duty cycle of 40%. I was told that it has someting in the nature of 60/40% But I dont understand what the effiency is. Do S6 motors not have an effiency or whats the deal. I would appreciate any help in trying to understand this. Also this motor is made in Austria. Felder Usa FB600 Bandsaw Thanks for your help Please.
