I have replaced the fuel filter and fuel pump on my CC 1046 series riding mower and am still having problems with the engine not running. Mower will start, but will not continue running........any suggestions?

Is the air filter plugged? Maybe the fuel shut-off solenoid is not getting 12 volts after the engine starts.
