I am the grandson of Edward E. Seifried 2nd Missouri Volunteer Infantry (musician/bugler)0f the Langlor Guards, Clinton, Mo. My Grandfather served all his enlistment (I believe) at Camp Hamilton, Ky.
Is anyone familiar with this unit or have a relative who might have spent time in the 2nd. Maybe anyone who might have pictures.
I have put together a display including rifles (2) and other accutraments that I would be more than happy to pass (pictures) along. I also live in the Chicago area and would willing to lend out for display. VFW/American Legion or local historical societies.
