I am living in the very South of Zimbabwe on a farm. Due to the economic melt down and the invasions on the farms the land line phone service does no longer work.

I do however have cell phone reception from South Africa. My wife and kids have moved to Bulawayo Zimbabwe. She has a cell phone in Bulawayo but I am finding it very expensive calling her as it is an international call from a South African cell provider (Vodacom).

Is it possible to send SMS's via Mxit to a Zimbabwe cell phone (Econet) and is it possible for my wife also to use Mxit to send SMS's back to me.
