I purchase a NEW C 180 in Trinidad on the 3 rd December,2009 within the first few days it started having problems such as

Loss of power when going up inclines

Bucking when taking corners

Folding leather seats in the back

Dashboard screen flashing black and white

knocking noise below the vehicle

to date the additional problems are

Front windows coming down for itself after it is put up

Radio and CD not working when blue tooth is on.

Park lights was on 24/7 for almost 3 months before they fix it

light switch need changing

To date i have been in that company over a twelve times spending the whole day in most cases waiting for them to fix the problems, in the initial cases i spoke to management but to date when ever i go in they do not come to talk to me at all now i have started legal action against them, still no calls but the worst part is that i wrote both Daimler in Germany and Brazil of my final course of action and no one replied (it has been almost a month).

To date the company has reprogram my vehicle over 6 times , changed shocks, changed front ends, change battery, fixed about 3 or more lights, fix malfunctioning front windows, changed battery and still have things pending and occuring.

I ask myself everyday "WHY DID I BUY THE CAR OF MY DREAMS TO BE TRATED IN SUCH A MANNER".

if anyone could help me get on to someone from Diamler who actually cares for their vehicle name , please let me know, i just want this nightmare to be over with, i am so sorry i didnt go back to a mazda, i never had as much trouble in the 6 years i had it compared to the 14 months i have had this. PLEASE HELP!

I don't mean to be cruel but it serves you right. This might just be a misinterpretation from my part, but people who buy Mercedes (or BMW) cars are often people trying to look rich. Can't people be shallow without showing it? No, they do everything to show how important they think possessions are.

Now to go back to your car. Go get a motorcycle or a Citroën C1 or whatever. Bikes are great if you live in the city. You'll never get stuck in traffic and you'll waste less gas (I don't think you care about that anyway considering you bought a heavy car).

Base on you statement i must say, this is why we have problems in this world we live in where simple hard working people like myself cannot like or want something because what other people may think, you need to look in a mirror good and hard and ask yourself " how could i be a self centered ass?"

yes i am mad take it for what it is, i am 32 years old worked hard not rich but for once in my life wnated to treat myself to something i have always wanted, i have never travel, don't party just work 24/7 which is a choice.
i make a choice to buy something i wanted since i was 16 and you tell me some crap.

May God be with you !

I take the last sentence as an insult.

You talk about being oppressed by what people think. But is that not what you wanted to achieve when you bought that car? To make people think of you? To make them look at you and see how badass you are, young, in that car?

Was it not social values of social promotion that brought you into this? If you did not care about what people think of you, would you have bought that car in the first place? I'm not a guru or anything but I think you'd be happier if you worked less to make your boss rich (thanks to you he not only has a mercedes, but also a golden watch and a big house, which I'm sure you want) and went for more simple stuff. Books for example.

Think about it, with the big amount of money (dollars, euros, pounds, whatever) you could have bought yourself hundreds of books, which of course is theoretical, since reading a couple dozens of books a year is already nice, which would have been much more constructive for you and your happiness. You wouldn't be struggling with power loss on steep hills and whatnot.

PS: Just thought I'd give you a few books I liked.
Animal Liberation by Peter Singer (great)
Communist Party Manifest by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels (people who talk about communism should at least read this first, instead of spouting nonsense)
Cosmos by Carl Sagan (really interesting and doesn't require scientific knowledge)

Those are easy-read books that broaden a person's view on the world. Especially Animal Lib.

Lol lol you amaze me cause clearly you read the wrong books, your so narrow minded, i Own my own company yuh ass and if you know me or anyone who does you would know material thinks do matter to me i buy clothes like every 5 years at less than half what most people would spend i dont waste money on anything, i take money everytime i make and help families with groceries, sponsor children on outings, etc etc etc. I laugh cause if only you know me you would know how stupid you sound cause everyone who knows me will tell you i dont envy anyone, i am not into materials stuff, i spend time helping people when i can, most of the clothes i have is because people may have gotten it for me for some occasion. You see your poor misguided child, i dont care what others think or do i know what i do for me if i want something i like for once i see no problem in getting it.
i feel sorry for you and i hope to God you are not a father or mother or anything of the sorts cause for you to attack someone you do not know, base on your narrow mindedness is sad, as i said before people like you is why the world is how it is today.

i pray for you:

Heavenly father please bless this man that he may find his way into you holy hands, father bless his with wisdom, forgive him for his sins as he may not know better and may you bless the ones he love. Holy father cover him with your blood, protect him from eveil and shower him with your blessing.

you may say what you want but i forgive you for your misguided words

Hmm. I'm pretty sure the world isn't the way it is because of people like me. If it were, you would not be eating burgers, you'd be eating ratatouilles and whatnot. The world would be vegan, the state would own the means of production. This is not idealization, this is how the world would be if a significant portion of the population was like me.

I know that little prayer is just there because I said I took the last sentence as an insult. I stopped reading the paragraph at "Heavenly father" just so you know. Also why the hell would you forgive me for what I say? That's not a way to solve things. Would you forgive Hitler for what he said? He started a war.

I don't know you. I just said that from my own observation, 99% of those who own Mercedes, BMW and Hummers are either wannabe rich or trying to show off wealth, increase self confidence.
