I Recently noticed the stylistic similarities between the head-dress of buddha/siddartha and the venus of willendorf. i was curious if this was some kind of cultural remnant or exchange. I know they are seperated by thousands of years, but the resemblance is striking. Are my suspicions correct, is there a connection of some sort, or is this mere coincidence?
