In answer to your question NO. I think you mean hereditary. Because it's a blood disease not something like the flu. My father-in-law has been batteling this for almost 2 yrs. now and with Chemotherapy treatment has been managing it. They don't even believe it's a highly hereditary disease. It's not easily passed on in families.
