Gas Turbine NPT Decrease after Uprate.
Dear Gas Turbine Team, thanks for this informative Forum; I am facing the following issue after Gas turbine Drive Compressor Uprate;
- Gas turbine driven gas compressor Solar C-165-3 was up rate with Solar C-160-5 with addition on two more compressor Blades, to cope up with Pressure limitations (surge margin limitations).
After machine start-up NPT decrease to 75% from existing 92%, @ same NGP (99.8%) posing a serious limit of On Load Machine Trip @ 72% NPT.
Need your suggestion to Open Anti-surge valve of Compressor, or decrease load on Compressor to maintain NPT greater than 72%.
