also as far as the training is i would think it is simuler to the us armys infantry traning am i wrong on that if so pleas let me know

The most popular nationality in the Legion is German. The training is similar but much more strict focusing on tradition and honor but they are excellent soldiers.And there aren't alot of Americans in the legion but there has been

I served inthe legion in the 50s then about 60/100 were German. Now I think maybe most recruits are from former USSR.
