DECONTAMINATION OF RADIO ACTIVE WATER?
I am preparing plans for a safe room. The room is under the main slab foundation of my home.
The concrete slab (house foundation) will be supported using 12" "H" beams of cold-rolled steel @ 24" centers. Inside the "H" beams are water-tight chambers filled with reverse ionized water. The chambers will be boarded up using 3/4" plywood sheathed in 1/2" Polypropylene, 1/2" lead, and covered in dry-wall.
My concern is the water. Can large amounts of Gamma/Beta rays create Tritium 3H in the hydrogen bound up in H2O, creating THO ? Can other isotopic forms also be created in the Oxygen nucleotides creating other forms of radio active water? I may need the water for survival after the initial crisis has passed, but I am concerned about the effects of the Gamma/Beta wave exposure making it un-usable for human consumption.
