My grandfather was Captain of the Dragoon Regiment up until the revolution. Is there anyone with anything to add?

Hi Marta, Weren't our Forefathers Worldly? I hope that you find something to answer your question, but I am affraid I cannot help. My Greatgrandfather was the Secretary of Treasury of Russia and surely would have been slaughtered like so many. They fled across Siberia ending in Japan, then Grandfather went back to fight a losing battle against the Bolshevics, then escaping a second time for good. Good luck in your quest and anytime you would like to share a story of this regal generation, I will listen. Regards, Alexis

Hi Alexis,
it was interesting to hear your story. my grandfather and other
family members were high ranking officials close to the zar, my grandfathers brother was brutally slaughtered in front of him. he escaped and crossed Siberia to China.another relative was foreign minister but i do not know much more. we have similar stories.
am travelling now but as soon as i shall be at home will send you a picture of Zar Nicola with his close official arround him. among which my family members.
do you have any connection to Harbin. that is where my family had lived
after the Revolution but then everyone had to escape again due to the historical events.
am trying to dig in that past and get some information of what had happened and am entering in contact with people who share this past.
please keep in touch. and best regards,
Narta

Dear Alexis,
am travelling between Italy and Switzerland. my Mummy left this world recently, in Geneva, where she was living since my Father left. Family members have been living in Geneva since a long time. I am left with too many unanswered questions about my Family. my great aunt's polish husband had been Polish ambassador in China and later worked at the League of Nations in Geneva.am going through a lot of documents and pictures and trying to piece things together-
soon will go back to Turkey where I mostly stay. hope we can stay in contact and share our findings.
Who was Bobuska?
very best regards,
Marta Szeszich

Dear Marta, I must start by offering my sincerest condolences and hope that you have some sort of support from friends and family. Please remain strong and give thanks that you were born unto them as a treasure. They did love you. "Bobuska" means grandmother in Russian except that I more than likely misspelled. She was quite a woman. I am pleased to hear from you and hope that a few words from myself, helps you in the same manner. Please surround yourself with the sanctity that helps you most, perhaps, put the papers down for just a short period and celebrate yourself. I will offer more of my story, of which there is plenty, but this moment is not appropriate. Please know that you may write me at anytime and I offer you my steadfast Human compassion. In closing, I wish you peace, Alexis (vnbrtzl@hotmail.com)
