Can anyone tell me in detail what position did Southeast Asia have during the aftermath of WW II. Did they receive thier independence shortly after. What states were involved

For details I'm afraid you have to consult your local library. In relation to Indonesia, Indonesia achieved its independence shortly after the atomic bomb 14 August 1945. In 17 August 1945 the founding fathers (Soekarno and Hatta) declared Indonesia's independence.
