Without any elaborate introductory exposition:

The award of the Nobel Peace Prize to newly elected United States President Barak Obama was the most dramatic expression of hope for improvement in the moral health of the world that I will ever be witness to in my life. Unfortunately, President Obama has been nightmarish in his embrace of, and adamant defense of, the worst conduct of the previous administration.

In light of recent events, I believe that the Academy should repudiate its award.

Cordially,

They should take it away, for the simple reason that he doesn't deserve it....and all he has done is complain and point fingers at the previous administration....this is his show now and he has proven that he is incapable, underqualified, and works against what his countries people want....come Nov 2nd...Mr. Obama will have one heck of a time getting stuff passed that the citizens don't agree to...

Obama's life story gives transcendent joy. A thing of beauty is a joy forever and the beauty of Obama's life is its great sorrows and moments of fulfilment so that it can be told and retold.Obama, who is pushing to improve the performance of US students in math and science as part of reforms intended to reclaim the nation's standing as a world leader in education, announced his plans to appear on the popular Discovery Channel at the first White House Science Fair Monday.

When the Swedish Academy awarded the Nobel Peace Prize to Barak Obama, they implicitly said that any truly democratic president of the United States would be an infinite improvement over the status quo ante. Also implicit in the award was the judgment that the new President actually had a well founded sense of moral responsibility.

Those opinions were widely held among objective observers of world affairs.

The Academy was wrong and should say so.
