A friend of mine recently found a coin that is approximately 1 1/4 in. in diameter. Around the top front edge the following is printed: EDWARDVS VII DEI GRA. BRITT. OMN: REX FID: DEF: IND: IMP: .Then on the back sid it just says one penny 1907. Now my qustion is this : In the past, early old rush days, the town in which i live in,there was a hoax created by an untold amount of people. The hoax was a giant silver coin that was at that time said to be worth $5. Anyhow long story short, just trying to find out if this coin that i recieved is real or another old gold mining town hoax.
