Which house did you mean is crazy evil, 8155 or the one next door? How do you know about this? Did you live in one of the houses? The house cleanings, were those in 8155 or next door?

There is another sky by Emily Dickinson

There is another sky,
Ever serene and fair,
And there is another sunshine,
Though it be darkness there;
Never mind faded forests, Austin,
Never mind silent fields -
Here is a little forest,
Whose leaf is ever green;
Here is a brighter garden,
Where not a frost has been;
In its unfading flowers
I hear the bright bee hum:
Prithee, my brother,
Into my garden come!

Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein
There is a place where the sidewalk ends
And before the street begins,
And there the grass grows soft and white,
And there the sun burns crimson bright,
And there the moon-bird rests from his flight
To cool in the peppermint wind.

Let us leave this place where the smoke blows black
And the dark street winds and bends.
Past the pits where the asphalt flowers grow
We shall walk with a walk that is measured and slow,
And watch where the chalk-white arrows go
To the place where the sidewalk ends.

Yes we'll walk with a walk that is measured and slow,
And we'll go where the chalk-white arrows go,
For the children, they mark, and the children, they know
The place where the sidewalk ends.

Fast rode the knight by Stephen Crane

Fast rode the knight
With spurs, hot and reeking,
Ever waving an eager sword,
"To save my lady!"
Fast rode the knIght,
And leaped from saddle to war.
Men of steel flickered and gleamed
Like riot of silver lights,
And the gold of the knight's good banner
Still waved on a castle wall.
. . . . .
A horse,
Blowing, staggering, bloody thing,
Forgotten at foot of castle wall.
A horse
Dead at foot of castle wall.

You said that you are (or at least were) the best friend of the woman at 8155. So, perhaps you observed some of the phenomena you told us about. Is that true? Perhaps you even live nearby?

I must agree with cratalus and hesoid (who seem to have identical messages)that I hope you do not live nearby these two houses. But if you do, have you noticed the same effect at your property?

I forgot to ask about your comments on the house next door. You spoke about strange things there as well but only about prior residents. But you also called the current residents "crazy" but I do not believe you stated why. What did the current residents do?

Messy Room by Shel Silverstein

Whosever room this is should be ashamed!
His underwear is hanging on the lamp.
His raincoat is there in the overstuffed chair,
And the chair is becoming quite mucky and damp.
His workbook is wedged in the window,
His sweater's been thrown on the floor.
His scarf and one ski are beneath the TV,
And his pants have been carelessly hung on the door.
His books are all jammed in the closet,
His vest has been left in the hall.
A lizard named Ed is asleep in his bed,
And his smelly old sock has been stuck to the wall.
Whosever room this is should be ashamed!
Donald or Robert or Willie or--
Huh? You say it's mine? Oh, dear,
I knew it looked familiar!

A Girl by Ezra Pound

The tree has entered my hands,
The sap has ascended my arms,
The tree has grown in my breast-
Downward,
The branches grow out of me, like arms.

Tree you are,
Moss you are,
You are violets with wind above them.
A child - so high - you are,
And all this is folly to the world.

Let America Be America Again by Langston Hughes

Let America be America again.
Let it be the dream it used to be.
Let it be the pioneer on the plain
Seeking a home where he himself is free.

(America never was America to me.)

Let America be the dream the dreamers dreamed--
Let it be that great strong land of love
Where never kings connive nor tyrants scheme
That any man be crushed by one above.

(It never was America to me.)

O, let my land be a land where Liberty
Is crowned with no false patriotic wreath,
But opportunity is real, and life is free,
Equality is in the air we breathe.

Still I Rise by Maya Angelou

You may write me down in history
With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may trod me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I'll rise.

Does my sassiness upset you?
Why are you beset with gloom?
'Cause I walk like I've got oil wells
Pumping in my living room.

Just like moons and like suns,
With the certainty of tides,
Just like hopes springing high,
Still I'll rise.

Did you want to see me broken?
Bowed head and lowered eyes?
Shoulders falling down like teardrops.
Weakened by my soulful cries.

One more thing.....nobody lives in the house...investors bought it and are fixing the roof. They have to tear a lot out, thats the reason for the dumpster. They will resell it. The roof leaked and needed to be replaced. I do know that they transferrred their pool service to their new home before they moved. They bought the new place 6 months ago, were slowly just moving things, good planning, hugh?

I live in the neighborhood. At Larrea and Galinda, I saw a ghostly figure cross the rode. I will never forget it as long as I live. I agree, there is something very eerie in this neighborhood. I don't like it here either, and we'd like to move. Problem is, we will lose so much money if we sell. The houses here are old homes, built in the 70's, most needed to be updated. The pools are old, the roads in the neighborhood are horrible. We put so much money into the house and now it is worth so much less than when we bought it. I hear 8155 Galinda Dr. sold for so cheap, you could get a southside home for the same price. That really hurt the neighborhood. The house next door to 8155 has had so many people move in and out over the years, seems nobody likes to stay there too long. A neighbor friend is having difficulties, too, and they told me that their is going to go into foreclosure. I laugh at the comment about the black ford truck, I saw him drive fast, too. Perhaps he couldnt wait to leave that house everyday either. There was something strange about him. Mooser said he saw the evil leave the place....I don't believe that, I do appreciate his humor....perhaps the evil went to his house. I believe that the evil is in the neighborhood and it is eerie that the ashes of a dead woman are estill there. So, in a sense, they are still there....the living family left, the dead family is still there. I drive by there and it is so dark there at night...the darkest house in the neighborhood

A Dream Within A Dream by Edgar Allan Poe

Take this kiss upon the brow!
And, in parting from you now,
Thus much let me avow--
You are not wrong, who deem
That my days have been a dream;
Yet if hope has flown away
In a night, or in a day,
In a vision, or in none,
Is it therefore the less gone?
All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream.

I stand amid the roar
Of a surf-tormented shore,
And I hold within my hand
Grains of the golden sand--
How few! yet how they creep
Through my fingers to the deep,
While I weep--while I weep!
O God! can I not grasp
Them with a tighter clasp?
O God! can I not save
One from the pitiless wave?
Is all that we see or seem
But a dream within a dream?

The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

South side? No thanks. I don't like it there. I prefer the North or North East . Closer to work and better mountain views. I would move North West in a heartbeat, but don't want to drive that far to work. If the market was better, I'd get out of this old neighborhood. It is starting to look ghetto.

Also, I am curious as to how you knew about this thread to enter into this discussion.

Your secrets are safe with us I am sure. One question though that I am sure is on the mind of all on this thread. Are you actually the woman you speak of? The one who just moved out of 8155? Since you knew so much, that does cross our minds. Perhaps there is something you could tell us that would convince us otherwise?

I, Too, Sing America by Langston Hughes

I, too, sing America.

I am the darker brother.
They send me to eat in the kitchen
When company comes,
But I laugh,
And eat well,
And grow strong.

Tomorrow,
I'll be at the table
When company comes.
Nobody'll dare
Say to me,
"Eat in the kitchen,"
Then.

Besides,
They'll see how beautiful I am
And be ashamed--

I, too, am America.

Cotiki/DarDar: This that you (Cotiki) posted (elsewhere) is indeed impressive but a bit revealing as well don't you think?!

The Arabian Horse Assoc. will not do it for free. The papers need to be signed off by the previous owner. You horse was born in Michigan, on 42445 Willis Rd in Belleville Michigan, at Sha-raz Arabians. I owned Malabar Aarouf and Shalimar. Shalimar was grey, Aarouf was black. I showed Aarouf for many years. He won in Western, English, Halter, etc. He even won a park class! He won several driving classes, and formal and informal combination. He was such a good horse with a fabulous disposition. He developed the heaves and we retired him to a farm way up north where the air was fresh and the pastures great! I may even have the papers to your gelding!

I Wandered Lonely As A Cloud by William Wordsworth

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

Bear In There by Shel Silverstein

There's a Polar Bear
In our Frigidaire--
He likes it 'cause it's cold in there.
With his seat in the meat
And his face in the fish
And his big hairy paws
In the buttery dish,
He's nibbling the noodles,
He's munching the rice,
He's slurping the soda,
He's licking the ice.
And he lets out a roar
If you open the door.
And it gives me a scare
To know he's in there--
That Polary Bear
In our Fridgitydaire.

A Life by Sylvia Plath

Touch it: it won't shrink like an eyeball,
This egg-shaped bailiwick, clear as a tear.
Here's yesterday, last year ---
Palm-spear and lily distinct as flora in the vast
Windless threadwork of a tapestry.

Flick the glass with your fingernail:
It will ping like a Chinese chime in the slightest air stir
Though nobody in there looks up or bothers to answer.
The inhabitants are light as cork,
Every one of them permanently busy.

At their feet, the sea waves bow in single file.
Never trespassing in bad temper:
Stalling in midair,
Short-reined, pawing like paradeground horses.
Overhead, the clouds sit tasseled and fancy

As Victorian cushions. This family
Of valentine faces might please a collector:
They ring true, like good china.

Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening by Robert Frost

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village, though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

Phenomenal Woman by Maya Angelou

Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.
I'm not cute or built to suit a fashion model's size
But when I start to tell them,
They think I'm telling lies.
I say,
It's in the reach of my arms
The span of my hips,
The stride of my step,
The curl of my lips.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.

Wow, and I was told you were retired military , and I wont mention names, but you should know that there are those in the assoc. that have labeled you both as "nuts", very temperamental. The neighbor saw you both squat down, stick your fingers in your ears, stick your asses out, your tongues out, and wiggle your fingers when another neighbor slowed down to look at your unsightly ghetto-shed. You would do well and exhibit much wisdom to shut-up least you show everyone your unstable demeanor. I now know what house you live in, and now I believe what cotiki or whoever says about the house you live in....everyone that lives there is crazy/evil/whatever. At least nobody ever stays there long...and soon you will want out , too. I have read your replies over 2 times, and I see the motives behind your posts....hateful, meaning to hurt. I am so glad the previous owners of that house next to yours left it the way they did.....they got the last laugh, so, guess they can stick their fingers in THEIR ears, wiggle them around and say "Ha!Ha!
I lowered the value of your home!!!!! " Really, sot being such of an asshole. We do try to be nice in this neighborhood, why be so hateful? Neighborhood watch? I watch out for this neighborhood, but if I saw anything go down at your place, I'd just watch....LOL

I've always been interested in haunts. How'd you find this thread? I was emailed about it. I am amazed that the house next door to the 8155 has had so many strange people live in it. I remember the sex offender that lived there. He rented the place and trashed it. I went to that garage sale he had before they finally left. Boy , that house was disgusting. The lesbian gals were actually no problem, they had a lot of parties there. They fixed the place up...I went to their garage sale before they moved, too. They told me they didnt like the house at all and just wanted to move out, but didnt say why. I thought that strange since they fixed the place up pretty nice. I personally don't like that old brick house with the shed. I have been in it ....very choppy...lots of small rooms. But , some might like it, I guess. Guess I shouldn't say much, my house has a stupid raised up pedestal area in the family room...we have never really figured out what to do with it. I hate it.
