- La sunsistemo estas la aro de planedoj, lunoj, asteroidoj, kaj kometoj, kiu ĉirkaŭas la Sunon pro ties gravita kampo.
- The solar system is the system of planets, moons, asteroids, and comets, which surround the Sun due to its gravitational field.
Usage notes
As with other demonstrative correlatives in Esperanto, ties can be combined with ĉi, the adverbial particle of proximity, or with for, the adverbial particle of distance. Ties ĉi thus means belonging to this [here] [person] and ties for means belonging to that [distant] [one/person].
