1. Having a less than normal ability to distinguish colors. There are several different forms of this usually genetic condition, and different forms determine which colors are indistinguishable.

   Frank was colorblind and had sewn small labels into his clothes to help him pick matching combinations.

2. Referring to a policy that does not discriminate on the basis of race or skin color.

   As a result of the lawsuit, the school adopted a colorblind admissions policy.
