He became Chairman of the board of Ministers of one of the governments of First Portuguese Republic in 1925, he entered the School of the Army in 1901, graduating as official of military administration and initiating a career that united a passage in the area of the military administration. He integrated committee to after militate bred for the announcement of the Republic and its implantação, in 1911 he was elected member of the house of representatives to the Constituent Congress, for the electoral circle of Bragança.

Biography

Francisco Pinto came to be called to the position of Minister the Finances the government presided over for the Loyal Wedge, being simultaneously delegated of Portugal to the Economical Conference of the War (1922). He was then author of the important reform 1923 tax. He was nominated Chairman of the board of Ministers. During this period he accumulated, temporarily, the folder of Minister of the Finances.
