Vincent P. O’Hara is a naval author and historian, residing in California.

Biography

Vincent O’Hara is an independent scholar with a degree in History from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a member of the Naval Institute, the International Naval Research Organization, San Diego Maritime Museum and the Global Studies Forum’s Editorial Review Board. O’Hara has authored five books and contributed articles to several noted annuals and periodicals, including World War II Quarterly, Storia Militare, the Warship annual, and MHQ. He is an assistant editor of the Encyclopaedia of World War II at Sea and has written introductions to two volumes of the U.S. Naval Operations in World War II series by Samuel E. Morison which is being republished by the U.S. Navy Institute.




O’Hara lives in Chula Vista, California.
